1. Introduction
This Shipping & Delivery Policy ("Policy") governs the processing, dispatch, and delivery of physical goods purchased from Roots to Loft Private Limited ("Roots to Loft", "RTL", "we", "our", or "us") through our website www.rootstoloft.com, mobile platforms, or authorised offline locations.
This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service and must be read in conjunction with our Payment & Refund Policy.
2. Scope of Shipping
RTL undertakes shipping and delivery of physical, tangible products only, including but not limited to:
- Office stationery and supplies
- Printed and branded materials
- Marketing and promotional collaterals
- Merchandise and apparel
- Learning kits or physical documentation
Exclusions:
Digital services, coworking access, consulting services, subscriptions, training programs, and any intangible services do not involve physical shipping and are excluded from this Policy.
3. Shipping Coverage Area
- RTL currently ships within India only.
- Deliveries are subject to serviceability of the destination location by our logistics partners.
- International shipping, if introduced, will be governed by a separate policy.
4. Product Categories & Fulfilment Method
For transparency, RTL classifies products into two fulfilment categories:
A. Made-to-Order / Print-on-Demand Products
These products require custom printing, branding, or production after order confirmation.
Examples include (not limited to):
- Business cards
- Letterheads & envelopes
- Brochures, flyers, posters
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Custom certificates, ID cards
- Branded merchandise (T-shirts, caps, folders, mugs, etc.)
- Event or startup branding kits
Production Timeline
- Standard production time: 5–7 business days
- Timelines may vary based on:
- Order quantity
- Design complexity
- Material availability
- Customer design approval timelines
Production begins only after final design approval, where applicable. Delays in approval will proportionately delay fulfilment.
B. Ready-Stock / Pre-Manufactured Products
These items are pre-available in inventory and do not require customization.
Examples include:
- Plain stationery (notebooks, pens, folders, files)
- Standard office supplies
- Non-custom merchandise
- Workspace accessories or stocked printed items
Processing & Dispatch Timeline
- Order processing: 1–2 business days
- Dispatch: Within 24–48 hours of order confirmation
C. Mixed Orders
If an order includes both printed and ready-stock items:
- RTL may ship all items together after production completion, or
- Ship items separately at its discretion or upon customer request
- Additional shipping charges may apply for split shipments
D. Bulk & Corporate Orders
- Large quantity, corporate, franchise, or event-based orders may require extended production timelines
- Estimated timelines will be communicated via official quotation or confirmation
- Expedited production may be available at additional cost, subject to feasibility
5. Order Processing
- Orders are processed only after successful payment confirmation
- Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or non-working days will be processed on the next business day
- RTL reserves the right to reject or delay orders due to operational, compliance, or material constraints
6. Shipping Methods & Delivery Timelines
RTL partners with third-party logistics providers for delivery.

7. Shipping Charges

- Shipping method selected
- Any applicable charges will be clearly displayed before order confirmation
- Certain orders or promotions may qualify for free shipping, as communicated
8. Order Tracking
- Tracking details will be shared via email or SMS upon dispatch
- Customers may track shipments using the courier partner's tracking system
9. Delivery Conditions
- Deliveries will be made to the address provided at checkout
- Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- Correct delivery address
- Active contact number
- Recipient availability
RTL shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details.
10. Failed or Undelivered Shipments
Delivery attempts may fail due to:
- Recipient unavailability
- Incorrect address
- Refusal to accept delivery
In such cases:
- Re-delivery may be attempted by the courier, or
- Shipment may be returned to RTL
- Additional re-shipping charges, if any, shall be borne by the customer
11. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a shipment that is:
- Damaged
- Incorrect
- Incomplete
You must notify RTL within 48 hours of delivery by emailing support@rootstoloft.com with:
- Order ID
- Photos of the package and items
- Description of the issue
Resolutions will be handled as per the Payment & Refund Policy.
12. Cancellations Related to Shipping
- Orders for custom or printed items cannot be cancelledonce production has commenced
- Ready-stock orders may be cancelled only if they have not yet been dispatched
- Cancellation eligibility and refunds are governed by the Payment & Refund Policy
13. Third-Party Courier Disclaimer
- Once shipped, responsibility for delivery timelines lies with the logistics partner
- RTL will provide reasonable assistance in tracking or escalation but shall not be liable for courier delays
14. Force Majeure
RTL shall not be liable for shipping delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Strikes or transport disruptions
- Internet or system failures
15. Policy Modifications
RTL reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.
Updates will be published on the website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of RTL services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Courts of Ernakulam, Kerala, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes.
- Parties are encouraged to resolve disputes amicably before approaching court.

20. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy, Cookies, and Payment Policies, form the entire agreement between you and RTL.
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver.
- Severability: If any clause is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights without RTL's written consent.
